Grain Free Rolls

A simple one bowl recipe for a quick grain free roll. Pile it high with vegetables and a patty of your choice, the more colour you can include the better.

Ingredients

50g almond flour
30g coconut flour
30g flax meal or ground flaxseeds
25g psyllium husks
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon hemp seeds (optional)
250ml boiling water
1 tablespoon coconut oil

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 160°C.

In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, flax meal, psyllium husks, sea salt, baking powder, and hemp seeds. Mix well to combine.

Add coconut oil to the boiling water, then pour the mixture into the dry ingredients.

Mix thoroughly until a dough forms, then divide into 4 equal portions and shape each into a roll.

Place rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until firm when tapped.
